A week's journey you won't want to miss, this program gets you in touch with 3 fabulous destinations in both the Andean territory and the Peruvian coastline. Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas; appreciate the spectacular Salt Mines of Maras and the elliptical agricultural terraces of Moray. Be impressed by Ollantaytambo, located on the top of the mountains from which the view is overwhelming. Discover the magic of the Machu Picchu Citadel, the most impressive Inca Sanctuary and one of the World's Seven Wonders.

  • Transfer Airport - Hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
  • This valley was highly appreciated by the Incas because of its special geographical and climatic qualities. It is located at 2800 msnm/9400 psnm allowing a better acclimatization, unlike Cusco city located at 3400 masl/11,200 fasl. In the Sacred Valley the "altitude sickness" is minimized or even avoided.
  • Overnight: In the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Full Day Guided Tour to Chinchero, Salt Mines of Maras and Terracing-Agricultural Laboratory of Moray and Ollantaytambo. Chinchero attractive town considering the colonial constructions built on Incas foundations. An eye-catching feature of its main square: a stonewall with trapezoidal niche. Every Sunday, the farmers and businessmen gather to exchange their products in a fair where they still barter.
Also called Salinas de Maras, these salt-mines have been used since the Tahuantinsuyo. The people channel the salt water that bubbles to the surface from a spring called Qoripujio towards men-made wells. The view of this complex of nearly 3000 wells is spectacular. The local people happily demonstrate the ancient techniques to visitors, even allowing them to participate in them. Moray is famous for its sunken amphitheater, made up of four circular terraces which appear to disappear into the earth like an artificial crater.
You will be transferred to Ollantaytambo, an Inca vestige that was a military, religious and agricultural center. Here, the fortress located in the highest part of the mountain, protected the valley from the invaders. The view of the town from the top is overwhelming, narrow streets and water channels are still used by the locals.

Lost in history, it was not discovered until 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham.

Many theories have been formulated about these lines and incredible designs, some almost 300 meters long,… runways for alien spacecraft, lines of a giant seismograph… however, Maria Reiche, who spent her life studying them, has come up with the most plausible theory: that they form a gigantic astronomical calendar based on the movement of the sun. The lines themselves run from simple designs to complex animal figures like the monkey, the dog, the condor, the spider, the hummingbird, the parrot, among others and additionally the astronaut, the hands, the tree, etc. Besides the new discoveries in Palpa like the hummingbird and the star. Come and enjoy this spectacular experience.
