Lima, Aug. 23 (ANDINA).
Peru's National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur) will organize the first decentralized exhibition for tourism providers, hotels and restaurants (Exprotur 2011) in September 12 in the department of Ica, in order to promote new products and services for tourism providers in this region. Exprotur 2011 is an exhibition for entrepreneurs, general managers, sales and logistics managers and chefs who work in the cities of Chincha, Pisco, Paracas, Ica, Palpa and Nazca, in Ica.
Main providers from Lima and Ica will showcase new products and services to all the companies attending the fair.
César Corrales, coordinator of the mentioned event, said tourism suppliers will participate in round tables and talk directly with local entrepreneurs to offer them new products for their businesses.
Canatur expects the participation of 30 tourist providers and the attendance of 600 entrepreneurs.
"Entrepreneurs from Ica are very eager to promote their hotels and restaurants. Many providers from Lima will also attend the event, mainly kitchen items suppliers, travel agencies and tourist operators, among others", Corrales said.
He added that Exprotur 2011 - Ica will be positive for the participating companies as this event will create more business opportunities through the exhibition of their products and/or services, which will allow them to contact more customers and potential new customers.
Finally, Corrales stated that the event will also be carried out in other cities such as Arequipa, Piura, Cusco, Iquitos and Chiclayo.
