Lima. Jul. 08 (ANDINA). The provinces of Lima are promoting 7 tourist routes offering nature. culture. gastronomy and adventure for travelers during Peru’s National Holidays. July 28-29. reported the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Dircetur).
Directur‘s official Emilio Diaz Mori stated that municipalities. entrepreneurs and tourism promoters are taking care of every detail to guaranty the safety of tourists.
The first route in Northern Lima called Ecology. Nature and Culture. includes the localities of Chancay. Huaral. Vegueta. Supe. among others.
The second destination is Northeastern Lima I. called Hot Baths Route. which offers the thermal springs of Sayan. Churin. Huancahuasi. Picoy. among others.
Northeastern Lima II named Changay and Atavillos Kingdom is the 3rd route and includes Chancay valley as well as Huaral. Acos and Atavillos highlands. hot baths of Santa Catalina de Collpa 3 hours from Huaral.
East Central Lima I route is named Community-based Tourism in Chillon which comprises Santa Rosa de Quives. Obrajillo and Canta.
East Central Lima II is the fifth route including Santa Eulalia and San Pedro de Casta.
Southern Lima I starts in Chilca and includes Mala. Santa Cruz de Flores and Azpitia. Cerro Azul. Lunahuana and its surroundings.
The last route. Southern Lima II is a complement of the first one continuing to Lunahuana until Nor Yauyos-Cochas Reserve.
Diaz Mori stated that around 70% of the visitors will come from Lima Metropolitan area and Callao.
