When planning a vacation try to consider an exotic destination in South America such as Peru.  A Peru vacation can be exactly what you and your travel partners are looking for.  There is a myriad of great places to visit and learn about while in this spectacular country. it offers a fun as well as culturally rich experience in its many regions;  Coastal. Machu Picchu is of course wonderful and memorable. but it isn’t the only destination in Peru worth visiting.  Cusco is a beautiful city in the highlands offering some of the best hotels in Peru; it has become one of the tourist headquarters before moving on to nearby tours and trek.  From Cusco you can head to the Salcantay trek. During your Peru vacation you can also visit Paracas which is the coastal region; from there you can take a boat ride to the Ballestas Islands and watch sea lions. birds and other wildlife.  You can also go to Nazca and see the Nazca lines; strange. giant lines of unknown origins depicted in the earth in different shapes.  Other options on your Peru vacation include dune buggies. sand boarding and horse riding while still in the coastal region.

If you are more interested in going through the highlands during your Peru vacation then you might want to try Puno and Lake Titicaca (highest navigable lake on earth).  When in Puno you can visit glaciers and an enormous lake spanning two countries known as Lake Titicaca. there are natives which have constructed and even live on artificial. floating islands.  These natives have a unique culture and way of life which is certain to surprise you. as you board their floating islands you will feel the water rippling under you and wonder how these people are able to live and survive here.

There is also the Jungle region of Peru; this Amazonian region is plentiful in natural beauty. here you   will find a diversity of cultures. exotic flora and fauna.  You can choose from a variety of destinations such as: Iquitos. Tarapoto. Puerto Maldonado and many more.  The large selection of exotic fruits is quite interesting and some look odd even. camu camu and aguaje are among the preferred fruits among travelers in the rainforest region.  There are also canopy top trips. bird watching and river boat tours. rainforest treks and nature tours.
